My husband has been playing Zelda since its release in the 80s and I remember trying to play on my brother's Nintendo as a child. I did not play Ocarina of Time but when I saw this I wanted to be able to get it for my husband for Father's Day. My hubby collects video game memorabilia and I know that Zelda is one of the best games of all times so why wouldn't I want this to be part of my husbands collection.
My Husband and I have have yet to master the Ocarina of Time. It looks like the one from the game. It is heavy duty, made from kiln fired ceramic with 12 holes. IT is hand crafted and tuned. The only thing that I and my husband were a little shocked by was the lack of music for actual Zelda Ocarina of Time. The music included were songs like Mary had a Little Lamb, Happy Birthday and songs like that. But not one tune from Ocarina of Time which is the whole point of the product. I did register with their sight and maybe they will send us those notes/tunes at some point. This item made me #hippiehappy in theory but in practice it is #neutral. This Ocarina will make a nice show piece but I do not know how much music will be coming out of this piece in our house. But I have sneaking suspicion, husband will be frolicking around the house playing his ocarina more than any of us will ever know or see.
I received this at a discount in exchange for my unbiased honest #hippiehappy or #nothippiehappy opinion.
